The Böcker AHK 30 KS trailer crane (“Klapp-Schwenkstützen” – folding swivel supports) is designed for optimal ground/load distribution as well as optimal driving features on a tandem-axle chassis. It has a swivelling ball hitch or truck towing eye, which significantly reduces the total length of the crane when it is turned to the side. A stable support wheel with additional pneumatic tyres ensures optimal manoeuvring, even on soft ground.
Using a hydraulic cylinder, the two-piece telescoping mast can be raised to about 85 degrees. The aluminium mast package is pushed apart telescopically with a telescopic cylinder and flyer chains. The luffing jib, which can again be doubled to a maximum length of 9.10 m, can be raised hydraulically to about 160 degrees. All crane functions can be controlled with a sensitive proportional control.
A powerful 15.5 kW Honda petrol motor drives the crane. Alternatively, it can be equipped with a Yanmar diesel motor, also with an output of 15.5 kW. The motor can be started and stopped with the crane’s wireless remote control.
The crane comes standard with a powerful self-propelled drive, which can be operated using the remote control. An auto-levelling function, which automatically sets the device supports, and an automatic retraction function also come as standard equipment.
The AHK 30 KS aluminium trailer crane also comes equipped with a fully variable support control. This allows all 4-folding swivel supports to be set down independently of each other at three different angles (0°/20°/60°). This allows the AHK 30 KS to be easily and safely set up in cramped construction areas.
