The Böcker AHK 30 trailer crane is designed for optimal ground/load distribution on a tandem-axle chassis. It has a straight or an optional adjustable-height overrun ball hitch or truck towing eye. A stable support wheel with additional pneumatic tyres ensures optimal manoeuvring, even on soft ground.
Using a hydraulic cylinder, the two-piece telescoping mast can be raised to about 85 degrees. The mast package is pushed apart telescopically with a telescopic cylinder and flyer chains. The luffing jib, which can again be doubled to a maximum length of 9.10 m, can be raised hydraulically to about 160 degrees. All crane functions can be controlled with a sensitive proportional control.
A powerful 15.5 kW Honda petrol motor drives the crane. Alternatively, it can be equipped with a Yanmar diesel motor, also with an output of 15.5 kW. The motor can be started and stopped with the crane’s wireless remote control.
The crane comes standard with a powerful self-propelled drive, which can be operated using the remote control. An auto-levelling function, which automatically sets the device supports, and an automatic retraction function also come as standard equipment.
The AHK 30 aluminium trailer crane is also equipped with a fully variable support control. This allows all four swivel supports to be set down independently of each other at three different angles (0°/20°/60°) to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. With this support system, the AHK 30 aluminium trailer crane can be better adapted to local conditions and can work flexibly and efficiently in tight spaces. The stable hydraulic cylinder with extended lift provides for optimal ground clearance.
