BAU, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, takes place every two years.
It brings together everyone involved in the planning, construction and design of buildings worldwide: Architects, planners, investors, industry and trade representatives, craftsmen and many more.
New technologies, new materials and new application possibilities are at the centre of their interest, which can also be realised in practice. Here, visitors can experience the future of construction at first hand.

bauma Munich
The most important industry topics for bauma 2025 have already been defined in consultation with the industry. In line with the megatrends of digitalisation and sustainability, bauma 2025 will focus on the following topics:
- The road to zero emissions
- Digital construction site
- Construction methods and materials of tomorrow
- The path to autonomous machines
- Mining - sustainable, efficient, reliable
These topics will not only play a central role in the exhibitors' presentations; they will also be illustrated in special areas such as the VR Experience and are a central theme in the supporting programme. The categories of the bauma Innovation Award have also been adapted accordingly. For the first time, applicants can take part in the categories of digitalisation and climate protection.
